Cancellation Policy:
Once registration has been paid, refunds cannot be provided. However, another individual may attend the conference instead of the person who originally paid. If a substitution is necessary, Dr. Louanne Friend must be contacted immediately at mlfriend@ua.edu.

This will be an inspiring forum for all nurses (clinicians, researchers, educators, administrators, nurse practitioners, theorists, and undergraduate and graduate students) to celebrate nursing knowledge development through clinical, theoretical, and research presentations. 

Conference Objectives:

[1] Explore contemporary issues of goal attainment/health care outcomes in the environment of the recent pandemic.
[2] Examine the uniquely important role of nursing theory in the profession of nursing within this recent public health crisis.
[3] Examine the relationship between nursing theory and health care outcomes.
[4] Develop strategies for using nursing theory within one’s practice, whether direct care, education, management or research.
 
GENERAL INFORMATION:

Studies in progress and completed projects will be reviewed for either paper or poster presentations. Submissions by students are welcomed. Each paper presentation will be a virtual presentation of 30 minutes (includes 5 minutes for questions and answers). Poster presentations will be a virtual presentation of 15 minutes. All abstracts are to be 300 words, single spaced Times New Roman 12 font, submitted in paragraph format with title centered in upper case font. Submission deadline for abstracts: NOTE:  The submission deadline has been extended to June 30, 2021.  Notification. You will be notified of the status of your abstract via email by July 15, 2021

Participants must notify KING of their acceptance to present by August 15, 2021.
