There will be twenty-four peer reviewed presentations following a keynote panel with time for responses to the panel. A silent auction will be used to raise scholarship funds.

Program Objectives:

[1] Examine the unique important role of nursing theory in the profession of nursing.

[2] Examine the relationship between nursing theory and health care outcomes

[3] Develop strategies for using nursing theories within one’s practice, whether direct care, education, management or research

Two panel presentations, including representatives the the twelve nursing theory organizations will serve as the keynotes. These exciting presentations will then be followed by 27 presentations, based within a variety of nursing theorists.
